Rue de Bungaloo Farm
Stewardship, gratitude, and really good food
At Rue De Bungaloo Farm, our mission is to be good stewards of the land through the use of sustainable farming practices. A healthy farm means that the food we grow is bound to be high in nutrition and full of flavor. We raise culinary mushrooms, perennial tree fruit and berries, gourmet garlic for seed and culinary use, and pastured organically- fed hogs who get plenty of apple treats.
We believe that ecologically focused and holistic farming practices are essential for the health of our planet and our customers. That's why we take a tough stance against pesticides and rely on organic-approved, natural fertilizers and holistic orchard sprays. We focus on diversity, from the beneficial insect habitat in our apple orchard
We believe that ecologically focused and holistic farming practices are essential for the health of our planet and our customers. That's why we take a tough stance against pesticides and rely on organic-approved, natural fertilizers and holistic orchard sprays. We focus on diversity, from the beneficial insect habitat in our apple orchard to the dozens of different varieties of apples and garlic we grow. Diversity is key to ecosystem health. Check out this collection of case studies featuring our farm's Xerces Society Habitat installation experience.

We are proud to be a part of the local community and support local hunger relief initiatives. This year we are excited to be a part of the WI-LFPA (Local Food Purchase Assistance) Program which distributes our farm-fresh produce directly to Wisconsin food banks. We offer seed garlic each fall to keep food production local and in the hands of the people! In 2023, we were recognized with a John Kinsman Beginning Farming Food Sovereignty Award.
We love to hear from you about what you're cooking and how you're doing. We're also happy to elaborate further on our farming practices! Email or call us, and we will get back to you soon.
Cheers!
Farmers Hannah and Justin
